Josh Groban has long been committed to serving youth, and he uses the platform afforded him by his stellar music career to seek situations where kids don’t have a fair chance so he can help level the playing field. For years, his Josh Groban Foundation had a lot of passion but perhaps a skosh too little focus. They have dug in, grounded their mission, and relaunched as the Find Your Light Foundation, dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through arts, education, and cultural awareness.

Creative expression changes lives, and Find Your Light is creating opportunities for kids to discover they have talent the world is waiting to receive. Arts programs in multiple US and Canadian regions have been the beneficiaries of direct support from FYL: band instruments have been provided, arts academies strengthened, theater programs revitalized, visiting artists brought in to mentor and perform, multi-media work generated, plays and songs and stories and poems nurtured…basically, hearts and minds are invigorated everywhere they work. The Find Your Light Foundation developed out of Groban’s desire to streamline the charitable ventures of The Josh Groban Foundation. Instead of operating as an umbrella organization supporting a vast array of causes, the new foundation will focus entirely on supporting arts education efforts, providing instruments and funding for arts programs in schools and introducing children to the arts and culture around them and even around the world through the use of technology.
