Sure it is time to carve pumpkins and break out the wax fangs and tiny Butterfingers…but it is also time for the annual Green Festival in Southern, then Northern, California. In Los Angeles October 29-30 (at the Los Angeles Convention Center), and in San Francisco November 12-13 (at the SF Concourse Exhibition Center), the nation’s premiere sustainability event arrives with a splash. With a focus on Social Justice, a Sustainable Economy, and Ecological Balance, vendors and presentations fill the two-day events. There are Kid’s Green Zones, Social Media Hubs, entertainment stages, green building and alternative energy pavilion, Good Foods booths, Sierra Club-sponsored green cinema screenings, an eco-fashion show, even a yoga and movement pavilion. Bring the family and grab a fistful of inspiration for home, in the coming season and beyond.
